The Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association’s 9th annual National Tourism Tradeshow and Cocktail received a massive facelift for the 2017 edition.
A new venue, floor plan, beer garden and pricing were just some of the innovative additions to the event.
The NTTC has been dubbed the leading travel tradeshow for Dominica, seeing participation of all major local suppliers of products and services geared towards improving tourism operations and attracting influential OTA brands and tour operators serving destination Dominica.
This year the NTTC (held on the grounds of the prestigious State House) was made up of three components; a seminar component, tradeshow show component and the evening cocktail.
During the tradeshow participants of the local business communities were able to present their existing products as well as introduce new lines of products and services to the DHTA membership and the general public.
The Tradeshow also featured an art gallery where local artistes and local producers displayed their work, a main stage with live performances during the tradeshow, as well as a vineyard and beer garden.
The seminars featured discussions on industry development from some of the top professionals in the Tourism and Hospitality industry. This year’s theme highlighted the power of the individual to shape the industry – “Industry development – Fuelling growth through collective effort”.
The Cocktail showcased a range of local entertainment and was attended by many prolific and prestigious hotel and tourism stakeholders .
