It’s the final day of June and we are also in the end of the first quarter of 2017. So far I can say that I am enjoying all the opportunities that this year has brought my way.
Now on to my faves for this month.
Everyone who knows me knows I LIVE for a good primer that both helps my skin as well as minimizes my pores and reduces the shine and oil that is prone to the Caribbean climate. After careful consideration I purchased the Revlon Photo ready Perfecting Primer and I am LOVING it.
The Perfecting Primer claims to softens skin, reduces the appearance of pores and fine lines, smoothes skin texture, and tone.
What I enjoy most about it is that a little goes a very long way.
Next up is the La Colors Contour Palette. One of my favorite you tubers Amor Antasia turned me on to this product and it has been amazing.
It claims to sculpt and define facial features with eight blendable shades and shimmery highlight for glowing skin.
This brown girl friendly product can give me either a soft bronze or fierce contour which makes It my current to go palette.
If you know me once again you know that I tend to stick with Organic when it comes to anything to do with my face. I recently got into tea tree oil…yes I’m late to the party I know.
Tea tree oil is a great natural alternative for getting rid of pimples. It has unique disinfecting and soothing properties and, unlike other acne treatments, tea tree oil does not strip the skin of its natural oils and cause further damage.
There’s nothing better than a moisturizer that can sink into the skin and when my favorite drugstore had the Simple Hydrating Light Moisturizer I just HAD to get one I and was not disappointed.
The product claims that the light silky formula provides all-day nourishment and moisture with added vitamins. It also contains Pro-Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E and the skin-loving ingredients: Glycerin and Borage Seed Oi.
What really sold me was that it claimed to be suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive skin with no dyes, artificial perfumes and no harsh irritants that can upset the skin.
This product sinks into my skin and keeps me hydrated under my makeup all day long.
I’ve also been really liking the Suave Essentials Cocoa Butter & Shea Body Wash. Not only is it affordable the creamy product is infused with cocoa butter, shea butter, honey, milk protein and skin conditioning Vitamin E.
One product that I have been raving about all over social media ( follow me @ thekschronicles on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook) is the Creme of Nature Argan Buttermilk Leave-in Hair Milk Yes that Is a Mouth-full. Shout out to my friend Bernelle for putting me on to this product.
The labeling claims it to be perfect for light-weight daily hair revitalization. And it is made with a butter blend of Argan oil for exotic shine. Not only does this keep my hair moisturized for at least three days the smell is amazing.
What are some of the things that you have enjoyed during the month of June? let me know in the comments below.
